Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CoastIQ ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Not Financial Advice

CoastIQ is a planning and educational tool, not a financial advisor. The projections, tax calculations, and analysis provided by the App are estimates based on the data you enter and general tax rules. They do not constitute financial, tax, legal, or investment advice.

Tax laws are complex, change frequently, and vary by individual circumstance. You should consult a qualified financial advisor, CPA, or tax professional before making financial decisions based on the App's output.

No Warranty on Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy in our tax engine and financial models, the App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that calculations are error-free or that projections will match actual outcomes. Financial markets, tax laws, and personal circumstances are inherently unpredictable.

Subscriptions

CoastIQ offers a free tier and optional paid subscriptions (monthly and annual). Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's Standard EULA.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy.

Your Data

All financial data you enter into CoastIQ is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We are not liable for data loss resulting from device failure, OS updates, or app deletion.

Intellectual Property

CoastIQ, its design, code, and content are the property ofCoastIQ and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the App.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoastIQ and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to financial losses from decisions made based on the App's projections.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
